Day One

Our group at the University of Literature in Hanoi

Started the day at 5:00 this morning with a jog/walk to Ho Chi Minh's monument, which we later toured. Great to be out that time of the day, with people of all ages engaged in a variety of different physical activities.

Spent some time at University of Literature, which is the first and oldest university in Vietnam. Then walked by Uncle Ho's tomb and body - some say it is not really him laying there. Still a bit creepy and morbid.

Mostly a day to see parts of Hanoi. Lost a couple of our group for a bit going to lunch, but eventually found them and all ended well.

 Tomorrow we visit with staff from the Institute of Education Sciences, where we will also make a couple presentations. Should be interesting
