Continuing the experiment

 As our students ventured out into the city of Hanoi with their study buddies, Cuong, Todd and I created our own study buddy group. We, too, ventured out in search of the "authentic Vietnamese restaurant" - with AC etc. We landed here. No AC but lots of character! And our own private dining room, sort of.

Having stumbled onto a powerful cultural thread in our experiment, we continued to stretch, and found ourselves at the ethnology museum. Vietnam is comprised of many ethnic groups and this museum provides a wonderful narrative of these different groups, how they have lived and what their societies have been like.

Apparently our students and their study buddies thought the same thing because, when we arrived to purchase tickets, we were surprised to see many of them also lining up to experience this wonderful treasure. Great minds think alike!
